Author’s Withe Wine

  • Origin: Rioja (name means River Oja). This region produces some of the best and well-known wines from Europe due to its unique topography and climate.

  •  Varieties: White Garnacha 10%; Viura 90%.

Origin.

We make this wine in the traditional method of these lands, using gradual maceration and fermentation with controlled temperature that never exceeds 82.4°F.

To extract the singular characters of the varieties that constitute it, we proceed to the bleeding and pressing of the pastes after 13-14 days.

Tasting notes.

Clean and bright wine with primary aromas of fruits like apple and banana and a fresh hue.

This is a youthful, light, refreshing and crisp wine that pairs beautifully with a variety of starters, appetizers, fresh seafood, grilled vegetables and fruits.

Author’s Red Wine

  • Origin: Rioja (name means River Oja). This region produces some of the best and well-known  wines from Europe due to its unique topography and climate.

  •  Varieties: Tempranillo 85%; Viura 15%.

Origin.

Following the traditional method of these lands, we macerate the grapes for 5 hours using carbonic maceration, a process that ferments most of the juice while it is still inside the grape. The resulting wine is fruity with very low tannins.

Fermented for 20 days at a temperature of 68°F, to extract the singular characters of the varieties that constitute it.

Tasting notes.

This is a clean and vividly colored wine.

Its nose it maintains the primary aromas, ripe fruit and a slight character of licorice and fennel, wrapped in a floral, herbaceous and smoky hue.

This a young, fresh and warm wine but with good volume and a fresh and clean aftertaste.

Crianza Red Wine

  • Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.
  • Origin: Rioja (name means River Oja). This region produces some of the best and well-known wines from Europe due to its unique topography and climate.
  • Varieties: Tempranillo 90%; Garnacha 5%; Viura 5%.

Origin.

This wine is produced from the most northern grapes of La Rioja. The grapes are fermented at 86°F and macerated for 30 days, with daily and prolonged reassembling.

This wine is aged in American oak barrels for 365 days, and after a necessary and adequate rest, is bottled to finish maturing it.

Tasting notes.

This is a clean and bright wine, with a medium layer of ruby red color.

The nose has elegant aromas with intense nuances of smoked, licorice and overripe fruits; opulent and silky ending with a balsamic sensation.

In the mouth it transitions from light to velvety, with a balanced structure.

Reserve Red Wine

  •  Origin: Rioja (name means River Oja). This region produces some of the best and well-known wines from Europe due to its unique topography and climate.

  •  Varieties: Tempranillo 85%; Garnacha 10%; Viura 5%.

Origin.

This wine is made with grapes carefully selected from our oldest vineyards and from the northernmost part of the area. We ferment the grapes at 86°F and macerate them for 45 days, with daily and prolonged pumping, which are then aged for 417 days in American oak barrels. After a necessary and adequate rest, the wine finishes ripening in the bottle for 750 days.

Tasting notes.

This is a clean and bright wine with medium to high layer of ruby red color.

On the nose it has elegant aromas, with intense nuances of vanilla, cloves and raisins.

In the mouth it is a fleshy and velvety wine, with a balanced structure and mature tannins.

This wine has a long, pleasant tasty and enveloping aftertaste.
